Frequently asked
Common questions
If something here doesn't cover your situation, email car@everlyinn.ca or call 613.847.7894.
- What's your service area?
- We pick up anywhere within roughly 80 km of Consecon — that covers Prince Edward County (Picton, Bloomfield, Wellington, Hillier, Consecon) plus Belleville, Trenton, Brighton, Cobourg, Tweed, Port Hope, and the edge of Kingston. Drop-offs can be outside that radius for named destinations like Toronto Pearson.
- How far ahead do I need to book?
- At least 2 hours before your pickup time. The car is one Lucid driven by one operator, so sometimes we have same-day short-notice availability. The booking calendar will show when we're available. The maximum lead time is 6 months.
- What does it cost?
- Wine tours and custom hourly bookings are from $170/hour (3-hour minimum for wine tours, 2-hour for custom). Toronto Pearson is from $650. Dinner transfers and train-station runs are priced per route — the booking widget shows the exact quote once you enter your details. All prices include HST.
- What's your cancellation policy?
- Cancel more than 7 days before pickup: full refund. 48 hours to 7 days before: 25% retained per policy. Less than 48 hours: no refund. No-show at pickup: full charge. A $5 refund processing fee is deducted from any refund — Square doesn't return the original transaction fee when we issue a refund, so this covers the non-recoverable processing cost. We charge 50% at booking and the remaining 50% the day before pickup; same-day bookings charge the full amount upfront.
- How many people fit?
- Up to six passengers. The car is a Lucid Gravity — an SUV, not a stretch, but comfortable seating for six adults and room for luggage.
- Is the car really electric?
- Yes — Lucid Gravity, fully electric, zero tailpipe emissions — clean, and quiet enough to hold a conversation at highway speed.
- What car do you drive, and has it won any awards?
- A Lucid Gravity — named the 2026 World Luxury Car of the Year by the World Car Awards, judged by more than 100 international automotive journalists. It's a fully electric seven-seat SUV that seats up to six guests, with around 450 miles (720 km) of range and room for luggage.
- Can I get work done on an airport run?
- Yes — the Gravity has fold-out tray tables and power outlets in back, so you can set up a laptop and keep your devices charged on the way to or from Toronto Pearson.
- Can I bring drinks for a wine tour?
- You can bring sealed alcohol between stops. Open containers in motor vehicles are prohibited under Ontario's Liquor Licence and Control Act — including hired limousines — so anything you buy at a winery has to stay sealed and stowed until you're back out of the car at the next location.
- What if it snows or the road's closed?
- If we have to cancel because of weather, an accident, a vehicle issue, or anything else genuinely outside our control, we'll reach you as quickly as we can and either reschedule or refund everything charged so far. We're not responsible for downstream costs like missed flights, so leave yourself a sensible buffer — especially in winter.
